Holly R. Black, 71, Gouverneur

GOUVERNEUR - Holly R. Black, 71, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.

There are no funeral services and arrangements are with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.

Holly was born on Long Island in Riverhead on April 22, 1951.

She graduated from high school and worked as a bank teller on Long Island before moving to the north country in the mid 70’s where she was a homemaker.

Holly married Thomas R. Black on September 10, 1988.

She enjoyed spending time in her garden and her pet cats.

Holly is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, Karl Hansen, Heidi Hansen, Dana Chestnut, and Erikka Jennings; grandchildren, great grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Gordon; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents and her son, Kory Hansen.
