Korry J. Hodgdon, 52, Gouverneur NY

Arrested at 12:06 PM for a County Court Bench Warrant, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Defendant had a St. Lawrence County Court bench warrant from felony charges by the Gouverneur Police Department. The defendant was found driving on Parker Street and fled from Gouverneur Police in a vehicle pursuit and then on foot. Defendant was placed under arrest and was found in possession of fentanyl packets and an amphetamine pill. Defendant was transported to the St. Lawrence County Jail to await court.

Arrested at 10:15 AM for Petit Larceny.  Defendant is accused of stealing a black sweatshirt from the Stop N Shop Thrift Store on March 29th. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 3:50 PM for Criminal Contempt 2nd. Defendant went to 11 Johnstown Street where there was a stay away order of protection put in place protecting the victim. Defendant was arraigned at the town of Gouverneur Court in front of Judge Dann and remanded to the Saint Lawrence County Jail held on $2500 bail/ $5000 bond.

Archie A. McIntosh II, 20, Gouverneur, NY

Arrested at 3:27 AM for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance  4TH (FELONY), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd and No/Inadequate tail lamps.  Defendant was observed traveling east on West Main Street in a U-Haul Box Truck with defective tail lights.  Further investigation reveals that the defendant has a suspended New York State driver’s license.  Defendant was found to be in possession of a crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Defendant also found to be in possession of 14 glassine envelopes containing a white substance which field tested positive for fentanyl.  Defendant was arraigned in the Gouverneur Town Court before Judge Stan Young and released on his own recognizance.  Defendant is to reappear in Gouverneur Town Court.

Christopher T. Dalton, 24, Norwood, NY

Arrested at 11:08 AM for Forgery 3rd, False Business Record-Make False Entry 2ND, Criminal Impersonation 2nd and Petit Larceny.  Defendant did with intent steal merchandise from the Aubuchon Hardware Store by entering the store and fraudulently charging a Fat Max Tape Measure, having a value of $30.41, to the Adirondack Classic Design Company using someone else’s name, one of the authorized buyers on Adirondack Classic Design’s account, knowing that he had no right or any reason to believe he had such right to charge said Fat Max Measure to Adirondack Classic Design’s account.  Defendant was released with an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrest at 11:08 AM for Attempted Petit Larceny.  Defendant did with intent attempt to steal merchandise from the Aubuchon Hardware Store by entering the store with knowledge he fraudulently charged a Fat Max Tape Measure, having a value of $30.41, and a Dewalt Impact Drill, having a value of $269.99, on the 25th day of March to the Adirondack Classic Design Company using someone else’s name, one of the authorized buyers on Adirondack Classic Design’s account, knowing that he had no right or any reason to believe he had such right to charge said merchandise to Adirondack Classis Design’s account.  Defendant placed several items brought such merchandise to counter totally around $450.00.  Defendant was released with an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 1:59 PM for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property – 4th – Property value greater than $1000 (felony). Following a search warrant the defendant was found to be in possession of a 2011 Triton trailer valued at $3000 which was reported stolen at an earlier date. The trailer was recovered and returned to the victim. Defendant was arrested and issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Subject was taken in to custody for an emergency mental health admission pursuant to the New York State Mental Hygiene Law. Subject was transported to Claxton Hepburn Hospital.

Arrested at 9:52 AM for Petit Larceny.  Defendant stole a jump starter valued at $199.99 dollars from Small Town Supply Store, 23 West Main Street Gouverneur on 03/23/24.  Defendant was issued an appearance ticket for a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 10:21 AM on an Arrest Warrant issued by Gouverneur Town Court for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, Unsafe Tires, CPCS 7th Degree and Controlled Substance Prescription not in Original Container. Defendant was processed and turned over to the State Police for other criminal charges. Defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and released under supervision and issued a return date for Gouverneur Town Court.

Arrested at 11:25 AM for Trespass.  Defendant did knowingly enter and remained unlawfully on a premise by walking through the property of 136 Wilson Street with the property being posted with “No Trespass” signs. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 2:23 PM for Disorderly Conduct – Obscene Language and Gestures. On March 22, 2024 the defendant entered Price Chopper, a public place, and began yelling at another subject who was a customer inside of the store. Both subjects went to the parking lot where the defendant continued to yell. Town of Gouverneur Court issued a criminal summons for disorderly conduct with a return date.

Arrested at 2:45 PM for Failure To Exercise Control of a Minor.  Defendant, being a parent, failed to exercise reasonable diligence in the control of such child to prevent him from being “abused” or “neglected”. Defendant was arrested and arraigned in Gouverneur Town Court and released on own recognizance. A stay away order of protection was issued protecting the victim.
