A family tried to put out a fire that eventually destroyed their home on County Route 22 in Fowler Monday night, according to Gouverneur fire officials. Pictured above, firefighters reportedly stretched 750 feet of hose to the structure, containing the blaze to the building and stopping it from spreading throughout the woods, but the building was reported as a total loss following the blaze.
