POTSDAM — A car reportedly caught fire at Clarkson University near Ross House Thursday, April 18.
The blaze was reported at 11:10 p.m. and Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 responded to the fire, according to Fire Driver Mark Maroney.
Firefighters stretched a 1 3/4" hose line off of Engine 49 to extinguish the fire, he said.
The fire appeared to have started in the engine compartment determined by officials on scene.
Potsdam Rescue reportedly responded for standby but there were no injuries reported.
The vehicle was towed away by Skippy's Towing, officials said.
Potsdam Fire was in service on April 19 at 12:22 a.m.
