I have read your banter back and forth about loud pipes. I live in the country like most of us. I can hear a bike coming from either direction, long, very long before I can see it. Stand near a highway for a bit and wait for a bike, guarantee you hear it before you see it! So, if I am pulling out of my driveway, or at a stop sign and hear that, I look for a bike. You can hear them before you see them, hence the loud pipes. Yes some of them are too loud, but some trucks out there are too big. Opinions are great! To say you don’t use your ears when driving is funny. Then why do we have horns?
