I believe America is the land of the free and home of the brave though I wonder about both these days. Some people think it is OK to invade other countries and send drones to take out “terrorists.” Tell me what innocent people from other countries think when their families are blown away in their homes, by our military or by drones. Do you think if this happened to your family, the cliché “Collateral damage” would make it OK or would you become what we have come to call terrorists? How about the soldiers in Iraq that Wikileaks revealed mowing down civilians or the soldiers taking a leak on dead “terrorists”? Wars do this to people. Does this help to end the so called “terrorism”? I served in the military from 1968-72 to answer your statement of when I “stepped up to the plate” so don’t assume I know nothing of service.
