To all of the village residents who are afraid that dissolution will mean fewer services, wake up. We now have a property tax cap and you will definitely have fewer services, or have to pay extra for them, if the village does not dissolve. The contracts that these unions are holding onto can only be changed if there is no more village. Don’t worry, these people will still want jobs, but we won’t have to pay for their retirements anymore. We can start to save money for our own.
