In response to “Sports Escorts” which appeared in the March 28 through April 3 issue of North Country This Week: I think we are all proud of the members of the Clarkson women's hockey team and their accomplishments. I agree with the issue of using time and resources associated with the escort. I assume that the taxpayers footed the bill for the time and resources. Several private citizens were observed in at least one village vehicle during this escort. Does the insurance allow coverage for those individuals?
