In response to “Unions Needed,” (Sound Off, Dec. 1-7) if you look around, almost all the private sector union jobs are gone with the unions not having done anything to protect these workers’ jobs after all the dues they paid in. The only union jobs that are prospering now are the government unions that are just raising our taxes in these hard economic times, especially for us on fixed incomes.
