MADRID – Two Canton men were charged with drug possession and the driver was charged with a number of vehicle and traffic offenses Friday night along State Rt. 310 in Madrid.
Joshua D. Martin, 37, was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and was issued an appearance ticket by state police at 8:27 p.m.
At the same time, Joseph H. Quick, 33, was charged with no license, aggravated unlicensed operation: suspension, a misdemeanor, unlawful possession of marijuana, inadequate muffler, and unsafe tires.
He, too, was issued appearance tickets.
Troopers said they were still investigating.
