On the Potsdam Central School Directory page under Administration are listed the following: superintendent of schools, school business manager, district treasurer, secretary to the superintendent of schools, transportation supervisor, buildings and grounds superintendent, food service director, BOCES regional supervisor, district technology coordinator, teacher learning center director and athletic director. Add to this list a principal in each building and also the committee of special education chair, bringing the grand total to 15. Yes, Potsdam Central taxpayers, it takes 15 administrators to run Potsdam Central School. The newspaper headline reads: PCS Plan Slashes Staff, Sports, 18 More Positions Eyed in Face of $2M Aid Decrease, but no mention of an administrator cuts. Administration strikes out again for failing to support faculty and staff. It’s time for them to step up to the plate and take a hit like everyone else.
