I would like to say thanks to all the people who have still been giving generous tips over the holiday season. A lot of times during the holidays people tip a lot less, but when you think about it, that makes it really hard for those of us who rely on tips to live. We usually make much less than minimum wage because it is assumed that we will receive those tips, and not only do we still have to pay all the bills this month as usual but we have to buy Christmas gifts as well, so if we depend on that income and we get less, it makes it really hard. This year many people seem to be in the giving spirit and are still being generous, and to those I say thank you. What is normally a very stressful time of year has been eased by having enough to buy gifts for my loved ones. To those who are stingy and tip very little or not at all, I hope you now realize the effect it has on others. Maybe if you don’t have the extra money yourself you shouldn’t partake in those extra services and luxuries where it is expected!
