Now aren’t you all just so proud of our teachers in the North Country who work hard every day, show up for classes, and take the hard knocks thrown at them by people suggesting they should pay more for health insurance. Why are they not downtown demonstrating and taking (illegal) sick days off to protest? I guess mainly because they are good people, dedicated to educating our young people in the public school system. Shame on the Wisconsin unionized teachers. Getting phony doctor excuses for their absences. Disgusting. I do have to side with their governor, however. Their state cannot afford this nor can the state of New York. We all have to give up certain things, as families have. C’mon teachers, pay up and shut up.
