School lunches are just that: lunch. Not a full-blown diet to the point of having to loosen clothing due to the amount of food they eat. That is not the school’s problem. It’s parents who are either, ignorant, uneducated, uncaring and more, or a combination of that who are failing their kids. Parents around here are very low on the totem pole compared to schools in California, Washington state, even Texas, Colorado, all places I have lived or have my own kids with families now.
