The decision to keep Potsdam Central school hours at the normal schedule during the snowstorm Jan. 9 was completely irresponsible! Many other districts delayed or cancelled class. District officials need to learn and acquire greater common sense and apply a more prudent approach to heavy snow days. The arrogance in the decision demonstrates a complete void of concern for our kids and demonstrates that the real concern was to avoid reporting a delay/cancellation to county and state officials.
