The county laid off workers at the end of 2010 but now the supervisors and top officials over there are looking at a 4.5% pay raise. Come on. The new legislators aren’t doing any better than anyone else. They are already starting the spending. Just because there was extra money from laying those people off doesn’t mean it has to go straight to salaries for others. Smarten up, legislators.
