I beg to differ with the May 7-13 Letter to the Editor “Clearing Up Proposed Recycling Legislation,” that Potsdam makes it very easy to recycle. We live in the village and have not found that to be true. We have had pick ups skipped on several occasions and have had weeks where we've had so much recycling that it doesn't fit in the bin. Even if you call ahead and let them know that you have additional recycling they will pick up if they can. They rarely can, even if it is neatly organized and stacked. If you want to pack up your recycling and deliver it to them, they will charge you. This is not recycling made easy, sorry.
