I don’t understand why some people have animals! I drive past a couple of homes each day going to and from work and see two horses at one place being kept in a pen no larger than a basketball court. I realize these people probably love the horses but c’mon, if you can’t provide them with better living conditions than this you need to give them to someone who can and don’t get them in the first place. There are about three dogs being chained to dog houses at various spots in the lawn and these two large horses. All the animals have food and shelter, which I always check as I drive by, it just seems like very poor living conditions. The state police informed me that as long as they have food, water and shelter there is nothing that can be done. I just feel sorry for the animals. Please don’t get animals if you don’t have enough room for them!
