Remember when you helped thy neighbor? Remember when you knew your neighbor?
We all worked together to make the world a better place. We welcomed outsiders to our neighborhoods, and supported them.
Now, everyone has their hand out, shuts their doors on strangers and is well, out for no one but themselves. It’s funny: we complain we have no job, then we also complain of all the work we have to do when we have a job.
Sound Off is a place where we can vent and voice our opinion about certain topics, so I guess I’m doing just that. People have become, selfish and self-centered, and not caring how their actions affect others around them.
Let’s appreciate the job we have, help our neighbor for the simple reason for being, well, neighborly! Welcome newcomers to our towns, and don’t focus so much on how we can put the screws to each other.
Appreciate what we have and not what we don’t have. It’s amazing how good that simple way of thinking can make you feel.
