Sacred cow, you are right, is the (Norwood-Norfolk Central) middle school (“Cut N-N Middle School,” Mar. 16-22). Cut it. A vice principal is cheaper than a principal and don’t forget the savings in the cost of a secretary. The teachers don’t support it. But there was a “survey” and forums and supposedly the community supports it. Well, when you stack the committee with your friends, they tell you what you want to hear. Next time, I hope the school does a real survey and is honest about what people say. Oh, but the school is being closed. There is another survey coming out to ask us what we think. We are supposed to give our opinions and the information will be twisted or not shared and the superintendent will do what she wants anyhow and close the school.
