Many not getting help

Some feel that everyone in need is eligible for food stamps and other social programs; this simply is not the case. Many of these programs have had significant budget cuts and are serving fewer families. Not all the needy are on drugs and alcohol, but are hardworking middle class families. Families working for minimum wage and are barely getting by, the “handouts” mentioned are helping them to continue working. Can anyone imagine supporting a family on minimum wage? We need to continue to donate and be generous for this hard-working struggling population. I am thankful for those who see beyond stigmas.
