If the village of Potsdam dissolves, then all current village workers will be out of a job, correct? Thereafter, residents of the former village will be responsible for paying for their own water, sewer, snow clearing, brush removal, garbage pick-up, etc., just like I am since I purposely chose not to live in the village. Right? If the answer to either of these is no, then the village has no right to dissolve and is simply looking for those of us in the town to pay the bill for their refusal to rein in spending.
