I must applaud the person who noted two weeks ago (“Why Another Light?” Sound Off, Feb. 22-28) the foolishness of another traffic light in Potsdam—especially one that turns red for Rt. 11 traffic when no car at all is trying to leave the Clarkson driveway. It also seems to have no sensor, since it stays red long after any car that is leaving Clarkson is long gone. This wastes gasoline now at over $4 per gallon (similar to many other non-sensor lights in Potsdam) and promotes road rage.
