I commend the students who abide by the law and recognize that guns are not allowed on campus and turn them over to the Potsdam police for safekeeping. Any responsible gun owner should know that guns are not allowed on campus and not bring them with them! Having the Potsdam police “baby sit “ guns because people don’t have the good sense to leave them at home is a waste of my tax dollars. Oh, that’s right, Clarkson and its students don’t pay taxes! Police should confiscate the guns and sell them to a more responsible gun owner.
