How did this legislature not know months ago that there was serious trouble coming in this budget? While they were giving away $20,000 to the “Rooftop Highway” crowd to print ‘educational brochures,’ they were headed for a $13 million deficit, and they didn’t know it? They got the state budget on April first, but we didn’t hear that the sky was falling until June?
