This is northern New York where everything revolves around hockey and if your team isn’t a winner then you might as well shut down the town! Any local merchant will tell you that bad hockey is bad for our economy. Potsdam will soon be empty if the Knights keep losing every year. If they don’t start winning soon there will be fewer and fewer people coming to games -- fewer people coming to restaurants, stores, and hotels, fewer and fewer students coming to Clarkson University. Before you know it, this place will be a ghost town! We need good hockey here. Half the games were so boring this year I could hear people snoring from clear across the ice in the older peoples section!
