I went on a short trip with my in-laws to look at things to buy for his business down in Cortland. The trip of course was slow and congested with lots of traffic both ways. It was easier once we hit the interstate though. I can't understand why we can't have it extend up through Potsdam. The first 90 minutes are always the same, going and returning slow and congested, you can't pass, you’re stuck behind semi's and there's usually 8 or 10 cars behind them and they can't pass. It's crap. I hate the North Country. It's slow and you’re forced to look at old barns that have fallen down, run down homes with junk in yards or peruse old junkyards and empty storefronts. Yeah, I so love New York! Living up here in the ADK is the dream.
