Did lawmakers in New York realize that the laws they just enacted would cause citizens to go out and buy more guns, ammunition, and accessories? Since lawmakers have made it obvious that they intend to infringe upon our second amendment rights, what little trust politicians enjoyed from the public is now gone, since the New York law was shoved through. As a result, law abiding gun owners and even citizens that never owned a gun are buying guns and ammo faster than vendors can keep shelves stocked. Even Walmart cannot keep up. The effect is not only in New York, but also across the nation with congress merely talking about gun control.
