The stories are starting to emerge regarding possible hardships from the government shutdown. Folks, relax. Any mortgage company or bank who holds you responsible for late mortgage payments or government loans or anything else connected with this shutdown isn't worth doing business with. If you can't get a mortgage right now, wait. What's the big yank? This isn’t going to last forever. As with the realtor's story about not getting a loan; that was totally unnecessary. Stop adding stress to something you don't need to stress about. Winter is bad enough in the North Country, singing the “Winnie the Pooh” rain cloud song isn't going to help. Instead, keep in mind that where there is a will, there is a way; patience, things will work out in the end. This is the North Country. As for the news outlets, stop turning this into a drama series. We don't need it.
