In response to “Work Violence Alleged at Real Property Dept.” which appeared in the Jan. 6-12 issue of North Country This Week: I’m not the smartest person but seniority should definitely mean something for promotions. As a manager, I always subscribed to this. I know there can be "good ole boy" clubs in workplaces and when someone speaks out against someone doing wrong in the "good ole boy" club, those people will gang up against the person who blew the whistle. St. Lawrence County should not be letting this happen. And, workplace violence incidents should be taken seriously. Good for Mr. Nelson for speaking out. I'm sure it's been very difficult for his wife working there.
