It is sad and a prime example of what’s wrong with the governing board of St. Lawrence County that the resolution to sell the CHHA (Certified Home Health Agency) was tabled because CSEA members want to stay on the public teat. If these employees really cared about their patients they would welcome the sale, which would assure continuity of care and quality care. Four private, non-profit, quality healthcare providers innovatively working together presented a proposal that should be supported. Let private healthcare providers provide healthcare and let government try to govern.
