On Friday, Sept. 30 at around 12:20 p.m., I made a gas purchase at the Sunoco on Maple Street in Potsdam. The machine was faulty and charged the previous user’s credit card, someone named Susan. I went inside to pay for the gas and the cashier said that they could not credit Susan’s account, but they took my payment and have cash waiting for Susan, who was incorrectly charged for the gas. If you are Susan, check your credit card statement and identify the amount you were wrongly charged, and if you go to the Sunoco station they can refund you.
