Favoritism at West Potsdam F.D. derby?

I would like to say a few things about the West Potsdam Fire Department Field Day. It was a great day for it, and my whole family enjoyed being there. I was glad to see the people of Potsdam and from all around supporting our local functions. The part I’m very upset with is the rules and regulations of the demolition derby. When there are rules, they should apply to everyone running regardless of who you are or if you’re someone’s son. When you say there is no hitting the driver’s door of the derby cars, and you black-flag a guy first thing, and then someone else does it, and gets away with it, and is given first place, that’s uncalled for. Why is he so special? Everyone in the stands saw it and he was let go and given first, when the rightful person that should have been given it was given second. I’m sorry but I don’t see people going back if all rules don’t apply. What’s good for one person should be good for all. The officials say they wish they would have more than 100 cars registered, but when they pull stupid stunts regarding the rules, they will not get cars to come back nor will they get the driver’s family.
