In response to “Area Eyesores” which appeared in the May 11-17 issue of North Country This Week: The spots you refer to are nothing compared to what some residents have done to their properties on another local road. The miscellaneous items and refuse that people randomly pile around their properties is nothing short of disgusting. It especially stands out this time of year when there is no foliage or no snow to cover them up and camouflage the dump. It amazes me how some people can have so little respect for their neighbors. The town supervisor should actively address these issues before they spread…and they will, left unchecked.
