In response to “Making Mistakes” which appeared in the Dec. 2-8 issue of North Country This Week: If a man sexually harasses a woman, he deserves to have his life ruined! We are taught as women to stay quiet if a man makes advances. Suck it up and move on! I am so glad that finally women are coming forward. Even if it happened 40-plus years ago. It is traumatizing. Where did it say it was ever okay to take advantage of the opposite sex for favors. Any one should be given a fair shot at a part in a show, or a per motion without doing "favors.” It sickens me to think that any man can use their strength and power to get something from a woman or a man for that matter, yes, it goes both ways. It’s sad to think that is how we get ahead these days. Well, these days are over and kudos to those having the courage to come forward.
