I am wondering if surveillance cameras could be used in cemeteries? On Memorial Day, at Hermon Cemetery, in daylight hours between noon and 7 p.m., a wrought iron shepherd’s pole that was supporting a hanging plant was stolen from beside my husband’s memorial stone. I don’t think that those that steal from cemeteries have any insensitivies or respect for others personal properties, so I suggest that permanent surveillance might be an option to prevent this abuse.
