Well, it isn’t 1984 anymore but Big Brother is now firmly entrenched in the North Country and strangling the life out our constitutionally guaranteed rights to Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness. Sorry Mr. Shampain, er, I mean Champagne, (Franklin County District Attorney) calling those soviet era spy cameras, “mere license plate readers” and saying they are “a far cry from Big Brother” suggests you think the people of this area are incompetent fools. And since voters in Franklin County elected you well I do not think you could have fooled the voters of St. Lawrence County so easily. Shame on the Obama Administration and all its willing stooges who are taking our freedom away from us.
