In response to “Ad on Front Page Looks Like Stefanik Endorsement” and “Disappointed in NCTW for Political As on Front Page” which appeared in the Nov. 7-13 issue of North Country This Week: Wow! People get all upset that this paper had a political ad on the front page. Do they forget that newspapers depend on paid ads to survive? I honestly didn't pay any attention to the ad, so in my case it was a waste of money for the payer. But I wonder if those who were so distraught over the ad would have been ok if the ad was placed by the people they are voting for.
