The idea of a school district paying a superintendent $500, yes $500 per day to solve a tiny district’s financial woes makes as much sense as fighting fires with gasoline.  (That’s $10,000 per month.) They’ll lay off teachers and increase class sizes and cut sports, bus runs, the arts, and beneficial after-school programs all the while happily soaking up their $500 per day to do it. So keep ignoring basic logic, sharpen those 24-carat golden scissors and keep those cuts coming, as long as you get to enjoy your Range Rover and lobster.  If you want to talk about give-backs, and people being greedy, lets start at the top. Pick our battles here people, leave the teachers alone. The middle class needs to stick together, not dissolve into civil war and attack each other. Some people in our local high schools are grossly overpaid, but it’s not the teachers.
