State police report that autopsies of the two victims of the crash in Rossie over the weekend died of blunt-force trauma.
Angela Scott, 8, and her grandmother, Shirley Hays, 69, were killed in a head-on collision on Rt. 11 on Saturday.
Autopsies were performed by Dr. Samuel Livingstone at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. Livingstone's finding is that both victims died from blunt force trauma due to the motor vehicle accident, police said.
St. Lawrence County Coroner R.B. Lawrence has ruled the manner of deaths was accidental.
Troopers said it appeared that seat belts and child-safety seats were in use.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
