Christine Marie “Chris/Tina” Pearl, age 71, formerly of West Parishville, passed away Thursday, November 30, of sudden, but natural, causes at her residence in Waipahu, Hawaii.
Tina is survived by her daughter, Virginia “Jenny” (Brian) Hallam of Honolulu, HI; a son, James “Jimmy” Pearl Jr. of Massena; a brother Joseph “Joe” Trimboli Jr. of Massena; grandchildren Emily Insalaco, Caitlyn Hallam and Mason Hallam; and nieces, nephews and various cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Harrison “Butch” Fuller.
Born on November 19, 1946 in the village of Potsdam, Tina was the daughter of Helen C. Fuller and Joseph Trimboli.
She was a longtime resident of West Parishville until the last 9 years when she moved to PA, KS, GA, MD and then HI to be close to her beloved grandchildren.
On December 11, 1966, in Hannawa Falls, she married James “Jim” Pearl Sr., the marriage ended in divorce.
Tina worked as a custodian at SUNY Potsdam for 30 years before retiring. In her life, she enjoyed playing softball, bowling, playing cards and going to the casino. Her fondest times, though, were spent with her grandchildren and she was currently living in Hawaii where her daughter’s family is stationed with the Army.
Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Sunday, December 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11th at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Louisville at 10:30 a.m.
