HEUVELTON -- Funeral services for Brian “Bubba” W. Willard, age 45, will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Mr. Willard passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, February 13, 2018, at his home.
Brian is survived by his mother, Eleanor Willard of Depeyster; five sisters, Deborah McCarty and her husband, Rick, of Degrasse, Wanda Willard of Rochester, Linda Wilson and her husband, David, of Hammond, Sandy Ewart and her husband, Larry, of Ogdensburg, and Norma Willard and her companion Thomas Harrison, of Waddington; one brother, William Willard Jr., and his companion, Orenda Murray, of Depeyster; two uncles, Robert Willard, of Depeyster, and Walter Willard and his companion, Kathy McPherson, of Rensallear Fall; and several nieces, nephews and cousins and many great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, William Willard in 2013; a sister, Laura Self, in 1995; a brother, Edward, in infancy and a nephew, Jeffrey Self; a bother in-law, Ronald Self; and five uncles, James, Charles, Tom, Donald, and Leonard Willard; and one aunt, Nina Borgeson.
Brian was born on June 29, 1972, in Ogdensburg, the son of William F. and Eleanor Cardinal Willard. Brian graduated from Heuvelton Central School in 1992.
Brian enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as competing in the horseshoe league at Doug’s Tavern in Heuvelton.
