OGDENSBURG – Municipal officials can learn how policies can transform transportation planning and create a more walkable, bikeable and accessible community as The Health Initiative’s Creating Healthy Places St. Lawrence County Project presents a Complete Streets Workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 18 the Dobisky Center.
Policymakers, engineers, planners, city, town or village official, or county legislators that want to know more about designing a city, town or village for everyone’s use can get valuable information at the workshop.
Josh Wilson and Jamie Konkoski from the North Country Healthy Heart Network in Saranac Lake will provide the nuts and bolts of Complete Streets with a walkabout demonstration and small group activities that show how to develop and implement policies that work.
