MASSENA – A woodstove has been blamed for a blaze that destroyed a garage on Pine Street early Sunday morning.
Massena firefighters and rescue squad were called out just before 2 a.m. to 53 Pine St. and fire in a garage there owned by Jason and Kimberly Bullock.
The garage was a total loss. There was minor damage to the house, St. Lawrence County fire investigators said.
No one was reported hurt. The Bullocks told investigators the garage was insured.
Louisville volunteers were on standby. The Massena department was back in service at 3:46 a.m.
