MASSENA -- A Winthrop woman was recently presented with a chainsaw carving of her father, who was a firefighter in the early 20th century.
Lynn Browne, 84, received the sculpture, depicting her father, Charles Richard Boyer.
Born in 1901, Boyer was a lifelong fireman in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Terry McKendree made the chainsaw carving, which Brown received at the North Country Showcase store in Massena.
