POTSDAM -- A Winthrop woman was jailed after being picked up on a warrant as a fugitive from justice from Bucks County in Pennsylvania, according to Potsdam police.
Amanda G. Goldy, 40, was charged with criminal impersonation and was also arrested on the warrant, officers said.
Police said they received a report of a person using a false name at the emergency department at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Following investigation police discovered that Goldy had outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
She was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $2,500 bail of $5,000 bond.
