A winter storm warning is in effect for St. Lawrence County from Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. through Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. with 1-2 feet of snow expected, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Today, before the storm, we will see sunny skies and a high near 21, NWS says. Temps will drop overnight to around -3 with wind chill values of -15.
Snow will begin Tuesday afternoon with wind chill values making it brutally cold at the same time. Expect a high on Tuesday of 21 with wind chill values of -18. Two to four inches of snow is likely Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Snowfall will pickup Tuesday night dropping 6-10 inches on the North Country. An overnight low of 20 is likely with gusty winds as high as 25 miles per hour, the service says.

Snow, mainly after 2pm. High near 21. Wind chill values as low as -18. East wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Tuesday Night
Snow before 10pm, then snow and sleet between 10pm and 1am, then snow after 1am. Low around 20. East wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.
Wednesday
Snow before 11am, then snow showers after 11am. High near 32. East wind 9 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Snow showers likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 18. West wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
