Winners of Norwood mug, reading, trivia contests announced

NORWOOD -- The Norwood Library Fill-A-Mug Contest was won Saturday by Mabel Raab for her Kitchen Mug and winners of many other contests and raffles were also announced.

Bobbi Lyons and Wendi Turnbull teamed up and took second and third place with their Happy Traveler and Angels Here on Earth Mugs. Over 30 mugs were entered and are now for sale, to benefit the library, at the Old Market Gift Shop.

The winners of the Holiday Reading Contest were also announced, with first place in the 3-7 age group going to Kylee and Kole Kellison, with 205 books read, and second place to Lance Rowley, with a total of 74 books. In the 8-12 age group, the winner was Daniel Wellings, who read 21 books.

Trivia winners were Sue Perry, Joan Ladouceur, Denise Di Vincenzo, Mary Lou Cutler and Michelle Rawley.

Raffle Tickets were drawn and the lucky winners were Afghan crocheted by Bobbi Lyons – Romi Sebald; birdhouse made by Dick Hand – Donna Raab; romantic basket created by Penny Clark - Shari Vari; Kerri’s Kreations “scentimental” basket - Robin Smith; Ashley House frames and wax bowl – M. Berger; Bob’s Garage oil change – M. Starks; Lobster House Gift certificate, donated by Drew Agency – Maureen Triolo; gift certificate to Laurie’s Casual Cuts – M. Starks; Perry’s Big M gift certificate – Michelle Wright; Birchbark Bookshop gift certificate – Donna Raab; gift certificate to Nana Bear’s Closet – Jean Cotey; and $25 cash – F. De Lorenzo.
