Wind chill values of -4 expected tonight in St. Lawrence County

Posted

A shallow cold front moving across the St. Lawrence Valley early this morning will bring periods of light snow until daybreak with a dusting to one inch in some areas, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Developing north winds following the frontal passage and abundant stratus clouds will

result in colder temperatures today with daytime highs only in the upper teens to lower 20s, forecasters predict.

Skies will clear late in the day as high pressure builds in from southern Quebec, the service says.

Diminishing winds and clearing skies will yield very cold temperatures for tonight, NWS says. Overnight lows will be around 5 with wind chill values of -4.
