LAKE PLACID -- They’re making snow at Whiteface Mountain, outside of Lake Placid in Wilmington.
The ski runs are being prepared for their anticipated opening Friday, Nov. 26, conditions permitting.
Snowmaking guns have been full out since Thursday, Nov. 18, blowing snow on Excelsior, Upper Valley, Lower Valley and Fox.
Opening day lift tickets for skiers and riders are $57 for adults, $47 for teens and seniors and $34 for juniors and skiers 70 and older. These prices will remain in effect until Dec. 17. Operating hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
